Who it's for
You might recognize yourself here.
You want to truly understand your blood work. Not take supplements by guesswork, but know what you actually need.
You're wondering whether your body is genuinely well nourished, or whether something important is being missed.
You want to feel emotionally supported – in what is now, and on the way to what's coming.
Why I founded Yaya
for everything that remains unanswered during pregnancy.
I look at what lies beyond standard prenatal care.
Your doctor sees your baby.
Ultrasound, blood pressure, maternity record — the medical basics.
Your midwife sees the birth.
Birth preparation, breathing techniques, postpartum support.
I see you.
Advanced blood analysis, personalized nutrition, and mental support.
The Offer
How I work.
How you are in these nine months — physically and emotionally — shapes your child for a lifetime. Science calls this fetal programming.
01
Your body check
What your blood tells me.
I don't just check whether your values are in the "normal range" — I tell you what they mean for you and your baby.
19 markers. 16 of them aren't part of standard screening. The other 3 are only checked superficially. Click on an area to see why it matters.
Understanding what changes
What does your body need right now?
Pregnancy is constantly changing. Together, we'll look at what matters most for you and your baby in this phase.
approx. weeks 8–12
First trimester
Nervous system & cell division
Why now?
In the first weeks, your baby's most important organ systems are forming. At the same time, it becomes clear whether your nutrient stores can keep up with the rising demand.
Commonly checked values
- Ferritin (iron stores)
- Vitamin D
- Vitamin B12
- Folate
- Thyroid (TSH, fT4)
Why these values?
They play an important role in cell division, the nervous system, energy balance, and your baby's early development.
approx. weeks 20–28
Second trimester
Growth & reserves
Why now?
Your body is changing rapidly. Blood volume increases, nutrient demands rise, and organs such as the liver and kidneys are working harder than before.
Commonly checked values
- Ferritin
- Magnesium
- Zinc
- Selenium
- hs-CRP
- individual follow-up values
Why these values?
They support growth, the immune system, and energy supply for mother and baby, and may help explain persistent symptoms or provide additional context for your overall health.
approx. weeks 30–36
Third trimester
Brain development & birth
Why now?
In the last weeks of pregnancy, your baby's brain continues to develop rapidly, while your body prepares for birth and the demands of the weeks ahead.
Commonly checked values
- Omega-3 index
- Ferritin
- Vitamin D
- Vitamin B12
- individual follow-up
Why these values?
They support your supply in the final weeks before birth and can help identify existing deficiencies in time.
Together we'll decide which tests are most relevant for your current stage of pregnancy.

Inner Work
Some answers aren't found in the lab.
…but in a conversation that listens to your quieter themes. Because pregnancy changes everything — relationship, identity, fears, dreams. Systemic support is inner work that strengthens you before your baby arrives.
This isn't therapy and it isn't advice. It's a space where you find your own answers. No instructions — just the questions that help you move forward. Systemic means: no feeling stands alone — it's always part of a bigger picture. The result of interconnections.

About Nina
Who'll be by your side.
Pregnant — and now what?
When I was in your position, I spent night after night searching online. What should I do now? What's normal and what isn't? I was looking for something that would give me a sense of safety. Something that would prove: everything's okay, you're doing this right. I booked courses, I prepared — and somehow never found what I actually needed. At least not in one place.
Eleven years later, I created that place myself. My practice. Yaya.
To me, mothers are the most impressive and beautiful beings on this planet. You deserve everything. Everything. I look forward to supporting you through this extraordinary time.

Common Questions
What's included in the blood analysis?
I look at blood values that are often missed in standard prenatal care — including thyroid, iron, vitamin D, HoloTC (active vitamin B12), magnesium, zinc, selenium, and other nutrients that matter for you and your baby. Depending on your situation, we can add further values such as omega-3.
When's a good time to start?
Any point during pregnancy works. Ideally, starting in the first or early second trimester gives us enough time to get a clear picture of your nutrient status.
How is Yaya different from standard prenatal care?
Yaya doesn't replace medical care — it complements it. I take significantly more time, look holistically at blood values, nutrient supply, and your personal experience, and support you emotionally too.
Can I start even without clear symptoms?
Yes. Many women come simply because they want to feel better informed and supported. It's not just about problems — it's about clarity and confidence.
How often are sessions or blood tests recommended?
For the analyses we look at your blood at the start with an initial analysis and over time with follow-up analyses. Which values and intervals make sense is something we decide together based on your situation.
Are the services self-pay?
Yes, all services are self-pay. You'll receive an invoice that you may be able to submit to your supplementary insurance.
Can I start with blood analysis only?
Yes, you can begin with a single blood analysis and decide afterwards whether you'd like to continue with coaching or further tests.
Is support available in German and English?
Yes, I work in both German and English. Choose whichever feels more comfortable.
I'm already taking supplements like Folio or Femibion. Isn't this enough?
It might be — and it might not. Standard supplements are designed for the average pregnancy, not for your specific body. Your blood work shows what's actually arriving and what's still missing. Some women are perfectly covered. Others need more vitamin D, more iron, or a different form of folate. We measure first, then adjust — so you're not guessing.
Beyond pregnancy, too
Blood Tests & Nutritional Assessment
For anyone seeking a deeper understanding of their health, nutrient status, and overall wellbeing.
Yaya Nutrient Profile
plus lab costs
For fatigue, trouble concentrating, frequent infections, or the wish to better understand your own supply.
The Yaya Nutrient Profile includes selected markers that go beyond standard care and can give valuable insights into your supply of important vitamins, minerals, and trace elements.
Together we discuss the results and, if needed, derive a targeted supplementation based on your blood values.
▶ What is tested?
- Complete blood count
- Ferritin (iron stores)
- Holo-TC (active vitamin B12)
- Vitamin D
- Magnesium (whole blood)
- Zinc (whole blood)
- Selenium (whole blood)
For specific symptoms or particular questions, additional markers can be useful. We choose these together, individually.
Examples:
- hs-CRP (high-sensitivity C-reactive protein) as an indicator of possible silent inflammation
- Thyroid values (TSH, fT4)
- Folate
- Homocysteine
- Blood lipids
- Omega-3 status
Yaya is a holistic addition to your prenatal care — not a replacement. Our support doesn't replace prenatal check-ups or midwifery care. We work hand in hand with your existing care team so you receive the most comprehensive support possible.
